Looking back with my Christmas in PI

During this time back in the Philippine I’m already done at least kinda with all my shopping stuff. That includes food for the noche buena of which me and my family would enjoy, 12 different kinds of round fruits for the table and lemon fruit or popularly known as “kalamansi ” in the Philippines with red ribbon which will be hang at the door. I just observed that my aunt has been doing this for a few years already so I decided to do the something. Hey they say it’s for good luck so why not give it a try right?

Glad of a sudden changed of plan

I will thought I almost miss our annual get together on Christmas Eve this year. I wasn’t planning on going because we have a visitor. My mother in-law is here to spend Christmas with us, she few all the way from North Carolina and will be with us till New Year. And hopefully is the weather conditions will allow she also would love to visit her daughter in Idaho for a few days before heading back to North Carolina. But anyway, I wasn’t sure if she’s all up with this get together and if they have other plans after the service. So I told my good Friend Jo that were not coming, but things changed because the candle service that Christmas eve was so short and it end up very early, Paul says that were just going to buy pizza and head home. So I said ok will just go ahead and attend the party then, and I’m glad we did instead of going home. So that was a quite a quick changed of plan ha?

Trying to hit two birds with one stone

Its Tuesday evening and its freezing outside, I set the thermostat here inside the house at 72degrees and I’m just being a couch potatoe here. Though my kitchen sink is free from any kitchen stuff right now and I’m done with my vacuum, I put one load of laundry at the washer and all the stuff needed for our diner tonight is all prepared already I will just have to Sautee it later and dinner is serve. Hay this is what motherhood is all about trying to hit two birds with one stone.

My good friend is a strong person

I just received a bad news the other night from a friend, who’se husband is at the hospital right now for aneurisym. Though according to my friend that everything is looking good now and that her husband has a strong fighting spirit. I was just worried about her also because shes trying and doin everything she can to make life easy for her and her family but I know shes a strong person and that’s what I like about her too. So to you sis, you know who you are, our prayers will always be with you and just think of this as atest to your relationship and that everything is goin to be alright.

Unexpected meeting

What really makes it more exciting about our trip to Sacramento California last weekend was the unexpected meeting of a friend which I meet in Friendster. Things happened the least you expect it to be you know what I mean. But I was just so happy and thrilled to see her. Saturday is the day we choose to go to Seafood City in Sacramento, and that will be our last stop for the day before we head home to Reno since we heard from the news that there will be snow up in the mountain. So it’s about 12noon and were on our way to Arden Mall, but we couldn’t get a parking space for the mall is really pack. Since we don’t really need to be there we decided to go to seafood city then go home. So in Seafood city parking lot, I saw this lady standing behind my husband waiting for us to clear the way when all of a sudden I just kinda stare at her because she looks really familiar and that’s when we both figure out the Friendster site. So it’s really cool to see somebody you haven’t met before and all of a sudden… bam! There she is, I was still smiling even though were already inside the establishment, I just couldn’t believe it. She was just a very nice lady and am glad about our unexpected meeting.
